Our idea about church

We are a group of people from many backgrounds and walks of life seeking to put Jesus first in our lives.

With us, church is not so much about bigger-better, faster-more. We value relationships, faithfulness, participation and authenticity in worship. We call it simply church.

Our ministries include:

• Sunday worship service.
• Small Groups for study, prayer and fellowship.
• Kidz Church for the children on Sunday mornings.
• Coffee time for community and conversation after the worship service.
• Mixed-media Art, Quilting, and other activities.
• Many opportunities to serve and use your talents and gifts.
• The Alpha Course to explore faith (offered intermittently)

Church Staff

Pastor Auke Algera has been our pastor since 2010. He is originally from the Netherlands and loves soccer and European travel. He and his wife Tyleen have two (young-adult) sons.

Our Larger Family

Our church is part of a family of churches called the Christian & Missionary Alliance . The Alliance Canada is “Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and Mission-focused.” There are about 400 Alliance churches in Canada and many more worldwide. We belong to the Canadian Pacific region. We adhere to the Statement of Faith of the CMA.
